Mung beans cooked with pork belly strips, bitter gourd leaves

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams monggo (mung beans)
  • 1/4 kg. pork belly, cut in to chunks
  • 3 gloves garlic
  • 1 big onion
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • ampalaya leaves
  • patis
  • cooking oil
  • 1.5 liters of water (use for pre-boiling the beans)
