Mackerel Adobo

Quick and easy fish adobo dish of mackerel (typically galunggong). Delicious and good for your heart (mackerel is packed with omega-3 fatty acids).


  • 1 kg mackerel (or galunggong)
  • 1 matchbox size ginger
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • green chilis for garnish
